McKinsey interview
McKinsey consulting uses English in interview. McKinsey look for 3 things in
a candidate:
1) Smart: You will go through a paper based test. You will also have case
interview. This is the time and place for you to show off. Do not hold
back. If you have three answers, tell them all.
2) Leadership potential - This is mostly based on your social activities in
school. You can also strengthen it with the stories you tell in the
interview. They want to know that you can take leadership initiatives in
McKinsey and in front of the client.
3) Personal impact: That all depends on your behavior in a interview. The
most important thing to do: be happy and energetic in an interview. All the
McKinsey people lack sleeps. If you cannot excit them, you are doomed -
they will not believe that you can excit the clients at client''''s tough
time.
