Lucent Technologies
Lucent Technologies Inc. is one of the leading telecommunication
company on the globe. It designs, develops and manufactures com-
munications systems, software and products. Lucent is engaged in
the sale of public and private communications systems, supplying

were formerly a part of AT&T Corp., including the research and
development capabilities of Bell Laboratories. Lucent has three
reportable segments comprised of Service Provider Networks (SPN),
Enterprise Networks (Enterprise) and Microelectronics and Communi-
cations Technologies (MCT).

Lucent Technologies Microelectronics Group is the world leader
in communications semiconductors with $4.7 billion revenue in 2000.
It is ranked as Number #1 elecommunication integrated circuits (ICs)
supplier by Dataquest. Microelectronics Group has the ability to
combine ICs and optoelectronics into single integrated solutions.

and offices, to wireless voice and data connectivity, to high capacity
optical voice and data networks.
