BasicAccountabilityStatement

ResponsibleforanalyzingcreditriskintheHSBCMortgagewholeloan,realestateportfolio.Workswithbusinessunittoidentify,measure,monitorandcontrolcreditriskinstrategicprocessessuchasproductdevelopment,creditpolicy,underwriting,portfoliomanagement,collectionsandcollateralliquidation.Monitorsandreportsoncreditqualityandchangesintheexternalenvironmentthatcanimpactportfolioquality.


Duties&Responsibilities

1.Designsandimplementsmanagementinformationsystemsandreportstomonitorcreditrisktrends.

2.Developsandmaintainsrepositoriesofhistoricdataforadhocanalysis.

3.ProvidesMISreportingonmortgageorigination,performancetrend,serviceindicator,andvintageanalysis.

4.Supportsriskandrewardmanagementthroughdevelopmentofriskestimatesfornewandexistingproducts.Validatesestimatesinatimelymanner.

5.Supportsportfolioduediligenceactivitiesthroughanindependentassessmentofcreditpolicies

6.Identifiesportfolioconcentrationsandstresstestingundermultiplemacroeconomicscenarios.

7.Performsotherprojectsorspecialassignmentsasrequired.


Qualifications

Advanceddegreesincomputersciences,mathematics,statistics,finance,economics,operationsresearch,relatedfieldorequivalentexperience;Havefinancialservicesexperience.GoodknowledgeofSASandMicrosoftoffice.Goodunderstandingofmortgagepricing,prepayment,andloandefaultbehaviorconcepts.GoodanalyticalskillsandknowledgeofRMBSandSAS.
